All-Teeth-on-Four
All-Teeth-on-Four Bondi, Bondi Junction, Sydney
1 Introduction
If you struggle with full dentures or need to replace a full arch of teeth, the All-Teeth-on-Four dental system may be your ideal solution. All-Teeth-on-Four is a solution that uses four strategically placed dental implants to support an entire arch of teeth. Unlike dentures, they will stay in place while you talk and eat, so you can dine out and socialise without feeling self-conscious. Dr Peter Poulos is trained and certified in providing All-Teeth-on-Four Treatment concept, so you can rest easy knowing you are getting the quality care you need.
2 DENTAL IMPLANTS
What are Dental Implants?
When teeth are missing, you don’t only miss the part that you see, but the root is gone, too. A missing tooth root can be a problem as other teeth begin to move out of place to fill in the gap. Since the tooth root is located in the jawbone, a missing tooth root can lead to deterioration and jawbone shrinkage as there is less need for bone tissue in that area.
Replacing the missing tooth root with a dental implant is a way to stimulate bone growth and preserve the shape of your jaw and facial structure. The dental implant is a tiny post made of titanium that is surgically implanted into the bone. After the treatment, your natural healing process begins and builds more tissue around the implant, treating it as a natural tooth root. Once healed, the implant is solid in place and ready for an abutment and dental crown to replace your missing tooth. You are left with a natural-looking tooth that functions and feels like your own.
3 Dental Solution
All-Teeth-on-Four Dental Solution
This system takes advantage of the benefits of dental implants by using just four implants to replace a whole row of teeth. This eliminates the need for an implant to replace each tooth, saving you money and time.
Dental implants are commonly used to replace one missing tooth. Because they are functional and can improve oral health with a solution that is much like a natural tooth, the All-Teeth-on-Four system was developed.

4 HOW DOES IT WORK
How Does it Work?
All-Teeth-on-Four dental implants are placed strategically in the front of the mouth, where the jawbone is naturally thicker and stronger to support the implants. Ideal placement minimises the need for bone grafting and can improve jawbone health.
Dr Peter Poulos will place two implants at the front of the arch, with the other two on the sides of the arch. Skillfully tilting the implants backward at a 45-degree angle allows for longer implant posts and greater jawbone integration. Together, these four implants will provide a strong foundation to support your new, complete arch of teeth. In some cases, patients may require six implants instead of four. Your individual needs will be determined during your initial examination and evaluation.

7 Candidates
Candidates for the All-Teeth-on-Four Dental System
All-Teeth-on-Four is intended for patients who are missing most or all of an entire arch of teeth, or for those who need most or all of their teeth removed. Dr Peter Poulos assesses each patient carefully for candidacy for this treatment, as some patients who have been turned down for dental implants in the past may be a candidate for this.
Ideal candidates for All-Teeth-on-Four will have good oral health without infections. If you do have a tooth or gum infection, we can treat it and then reevaluate you for this system. Ideal candidates cannot have extensive jawbone loss as a certain level of health is needed for the process of osseointegration to take place.
Because All-Teeth-on-Four requires less surgery and fewer implants than getting an implant for each tooth, it is beneficial for budget-conscious patients and for those who desire a more efficient treatment. During your initial exam and assessment, or “initial conversation”, with Dr Peter Poulos, we will discuss your current oral health status and help you understand all options that are right for your needs and goals.
